LeBlanc (3-0) surrendered three runs (three home runs) on six hits while walking three and striking out four over 5.1 innings in Friday's 7-6 win over the Brewers.

EDGE Analysis

With a three-run lead after five innings, it appeared LeBlanc was poised for his third win of the season, but the 32-year-old made things interesting when he gave up back-to-back homers to start the sixth. Though LeBlanc has yet to allow more than four earned runs in any of his eight starts this season, his 2.64 HR/9 and 6.02 FIP is concerning. The left-hander will get another home start on Wednesday against the Yankees.

LeBlanc earned his second win of the season Sunday versus the Athletics, allowing three runs with seven strikeouts compared to just one walk across six strong innings.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc was sharp Sunday and prevented Oakland from stringing baserunners together, but he did allow a solo home run in the second inning and a two-run shot in the sixth to account for the damage against him. LeBlanc has been no world-beater this season, as he has a 4.68 ERA through eight appearances, but he has only allowed more than three runs twice in any outing and has delivered five quality starts. He will next take the hill Friday versus the Brewers.

LeBlanc gave up four runs on 10 hits with three walks and two strikeouts over five innings Tuesday against the Tigers, but was spared the loss thanks to some late-inning offensive heroics by the Mariners.

EDGE Analysis

This was a disappointing performance by every metric, as LeBlanc failed to take advantage of his return to the rotation. The veteran lefty allowed two more homers in this one, bringing his season total to nine in just 36.1 innings. With a subpar 6.19 K/9 to go along with a 4.71 ERA, LeBlanc offers very little upside should he get another turn on the road against the Angles on Monday.

Manager Scott Servais said that the team is "leaning toward" starting LeBlanc against the Tigers on Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

The M's are still listing Tuesday's starter as "TBA," as they want to wait and see if LeBlanc is needed out of the bullpen over the next two days before making anything official. LeBlanc has been serviceable in six appearances (five starts) with the big club this year, posting a 4.31 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB, but he's struggled with the long ball. The lefty has served up seven homers in 31.1 innings. Ariel Miranda would be the logical alternative if LeBlanc doesn't end up getting the nod.

LeBlanc was credited with his first save despite giving up three earned runs on four hits over three innings in Saturday's 14-5 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out two.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran lefty endured a rough eighth inning, giving up a 401-foot solo homer to Michael Saunders and two-run shot to Justin Smoak two batters later. LeBlanc has had some trouble with the long ball in July, giving up six homers over the 19.1 innings spanning three starts and Saturday's relief appearance. The 31-year-old figures to remain in a relief role until the Mariners need a fifth starter again on Aug. 2.

LeBlanc appears in line to be skipped in the rotation next week, as the Mariners have several off days that will allow them to work with a four-man rotation.

EDGE Analysis

The Mariners won't need a fifth starter again until Aug. 2 against the Red Sox, and LeBlanc is not listed as a projected starter next week. He has a 3.63 ERA through four starts, although his 4.57 FIP suggests he's been a bit fortunate. In most formats he is nothing more than a streaming option in favorable matchups.

LeBlanc allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk with six strikeouts over seven innings in Monday's no-decision against the White Sox.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc did what he could to keep the Mariners in the game against an ace-type performance from Chris Sale, and indeed the Mariners managed to win it with four runs in the ninth. LeBlanc now has three quality starts in his four starts with the Mariners and a sharp 16:4 K:BB in 21.1 innings to back it up. He won't rack up the strikeouts with a fastball that sits in the high 80s, but his control will give him a chance to go deep into games every time out.

LeBlanc earned his first major-league win since 2014 on Friday, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk in six innings against the Orioles. He struck out five.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc's been effective in both of his starts since the Mariners acquired him. He allowed a leadoff homer in the second inning, but otherwise was barely touched, throwing 81 pitches (52 for strikes). He would seem to be the odd man out when Felix Hernandez returns after the All-Star break, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Mariners kept him in the rotation over Wade Miley, who has allowed at least four runs in eight of his 14 starts, as long as he continues to give them quality innings.

LeBlanc will get the start Friday against the Orioles, Shannon Drayer of MyNorthwest.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc was traded to the team Wednesday and pitched six scoreless innings in his Mariners debut Friday against the Cardinals. He will now get his second start with the club, facing the Orioles on Friday as Nate Karns slides to the bullpen.

LeBlanc pitched six scoreless innings Friday in his Mariners debut, allowing three hits and one walk with three strikeouts against the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc, who was acquired earlier in the week, had a better outing than what could have been expected. He threw first-pitch strikes to 17 of 21 batters, mixing plenty of offspeed pitches with his high-80s fastball, and gave up one extra-base hit (a double). He'll stick in the rotation as long as injuries continue to afford him the opportunity.
