Machado went 3-for-5 Saturday with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI.

He's exploded in June, slashing .364/.410/.636 in 77 at-bats with six home runs, four steals, 14 RBI and 19 runs scored, and the 22-year-old Machado seems to finally be delivering on the five-category promise he showed as a teenager in the minors.

Machado went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs and an RBI in Saturday's win over the Yankees.

Machado has scorched the ball over a seven-game hitting streak that includes six multi-hit games with three home runs. He may have walked the Mendoza Line for a couple of weeks to open the season, but that is a distant memory now. With 11 home runs, Machado has a chance to eclipse his previous career high of 14 by the All-Star break.

Machado went 2-for-4 Saturday with a solo shot, his ninth home run of the season.

It was the only run the O's managed off Danny Salazar in a 2-1 loss. Machado's .263/.320/.455 slash line isn't great, but he's played in every game so far this season and is on pace to establish new career highs in home runs, RBI and runs scored if he can just manage to stay healthy.

Machado went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's loss to the Rays.

Machado had gone nearly three weeks since his last home run and closed the month with four homers, 10 RBI and four steals to go with a .281 average. His numbers would look phenomenal if we could scrape the first two weeks of the season when Machado hit below the Mendoza Line.

Machado went 2-for-6 with a double in a 1-0 loss to Miami on Saturday.

Machado continues to excel in the leadoff spot for the Orioles, and he now has multi-hit games in three of his last four. His fantasy value has only risen with the move to the top of the order, and with Machado helping fantasy owners out in all five standard categories, he's shaping up as a top-10 third baseman if he can stay healthy.

Machado stole two bases for the second time in 2015, and now has a career-best seven steals on the season.

He is 7-for-8 on steal attempts and on Tuesday he topped his mark of six steals that he posted in 2013. Machado finished Tuesday's game 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs. He has solidified himself as one of the best two-way players in the game, and this speed quotient that he has brought to the table in 2015 only adds to his versatility. The one worry would be that he could increase the chance of injuring himself during a slide while attempting a steal. However, as long as he continues at his current success rate and continues to hit atop the order, the Orioles will keep letting him run.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a pair of steals Wednesday in a loss to the Mets.

Machado put himself in position to score twice, but couldn't find anyone to drive him in. The third baseman's career high in steals is six, but he's shown a surprising penchant for swiping bags so far this year, as he's already picked up five. With that added to an uptick in power -- five homers already -- the 22-year-old continues to develop into a better and better major leaguer, and a very strong fantasy asset.

Machado is hitting leadoff Saturday, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.

This is pretty nice for Machado, as he should be able to pick an extra at-bat or two per week if he stays in the leadoff role. He's hitting .257 but is slugging .473 and is one of the top third base options in fantasy baseball.

Machado went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double in Wednesday's win over the White Sox.

Machado was hitting .167 just a week ago, but as can happen in April, he has gone 10-for-23 in his last six games to raise the average to .254. Machado missed all of April, 2014 while returning from his first knee injury and had a similar slow start in May before rewarding owners with 11 extra-base hits, including five home runs, in June. This situation could be completely different, but it is worth noting.
