Zimmermann (5-5) pitched eight scoreless innings on Wednesday to earn the no decision against Atlanta. He gave up six hits to go along with three strikeouts without walking a batter.

Zimmermann was very impressive on Wednesday and showed great command throughout the night. Unfortunately for him, he didn't receive any run support. Zimmermann holds a 3.42 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP and will continue to be a solid fantasy option in mixed leagues while playing for a very good Nationals team.

Zimmerman gave up three runs on eight hits across seven innings pitched in Wednesday's loss to Tampa Bay.

Zimmerman walked one and struck out eight to earn the loss which brings him to an even record of 5-5. He didn't get any run support as the Nationals were shutout by an assortment of five Ray's pitchers. Zimmerman will look to get back on track against the Braves at home in his next start.

Zimmermann (5-4) lasted just 3.1 innings in a disastrous start in Milwaukee on Friday. He gave up six runs on nine hits while walking one and striking out four in the loss.

Zimmermann has given up 19 hits and ten earned runs in 8.1 innings over his last two starts. While Zimmerman's hittability can be partially explained by a career-worst .337 BABIP against, owners have to be worried about his career-low 6.08 K/9. The 29-year-old has proven his ability in years past, but his current 3.74 ERA is a far cry from last season's 2.66. Zimmermann will have a chance to rebound on Wednesday against the Rays.

Zimmerman fell to 5-3 Sunday, as he allowed four runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings against the Cubs.

The veteran simply allowed too many baserunners on the day, as he loaded the bases multiple times and paid the price on a pair of occasions. Zimmerman's ERA still sits at a rock solid 3.18 on the season as the four runs were the most he's allowed in nearly two months, and he will face the lowly Brewers Saturday in his next start.

Zimmermann tossed eight scoreless innings Tuesday, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out four against the Blue Jays to pick up his fifth win of the season.

He threw a season-high 105 pitches en route to his third win in his last four starts. In fact, Zimmermann has not lost since falling to 1-2 on Apr. 18 and he has a 0.96 ERA over his last 28 innings. Obviously there won't be a massive amount of strikeouts with Zimmermann, but when he is on, there are few pitchers who are better at preventing runs.

Monday's game between the Nationals and Blue Jays has been postponed.

Zimmerman was slated to take the hill for the Nationals, but he'll likely now have his start pushed to Tuesday, when the teams will play a day/night doubleheader. At this point, it's uncertain which game of the doubleheader Zimmermann would start.

Zimmermann (4-2) took a no-decision Tuesday, allowing six hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out five over seven innings.

Zimmermann notched his eighth straight quality start Tuesday, with his only mistake being a first-inning leadoff home run served up to Dexter Fowler. He was matched by Chicago starter Kyle Hendricks, however, who threw his own seven innings of one-run ball. The 29-year-old Wisconsin native is one of the most consistent starters in fantasy baseball, and should soon see the victories start to pile up.

Zimmermann (4-2) delivered seven innings of two-run ball Wednesday in a win over the Yankees, striking out six while allowing just five hits and a walk.

A sparkling, ultra-efficient outing for Zimmermann, who needed only 88 pitches to get through seven frames. His numbers this year are still inflated from their normal levels, but Zimmermann's been correcting course, as he's now delivered seven straight quality starts.

Zimmermann won his third game of the season Friday, tossing six shutout innings and giving up six hits and a walk, striking out six.

That's seven quality starts in eight outings for Zimmermann, and after a slow start in the strikeout department, he now has a decent 19:5 K:BB ratio in his last four starts and 26 innings (a K rate comparable to his performance prior to 2014). He'll next take the hill on Friday, at home to the Phillies.
