Bradley will make his fourth straight start in right field Sunday against the Rays, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports.

With Hanley Ramirez (hand) unavailable and the struggling Rusney Castillo since returned to the minors, it looks like Bradley could enjoy a pathway to regular at-bats on at least a short-term basis. While Bradley's criticisms at the plate remain salient -- he's slashing just .143/.208/.143 through nine games with Boston this season -- he unquestionably upgrades the team's corner-outfield defense, which just may be enough for him to stick around in an everyday role.

Bradley went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Friday night's win over Tampa Bay.

Bradley has hits in both games he's appeared in since being called up to Boston. His playing time may take a hit when Hanley Ramirez (hand) is ready to play, and we wonder what the eventual return of Shane Victorino (calf) means for Bradley's roster spot.

Bradley went 2-for-4 in Thursday's loss to the Orioles.

Bradley was called up earlier in the day and will get some fill-in duty for as long as Hanley Ramirez (hand) is unavailable. He's stumbled in his previous major-league stints, and now may Bradley's last chance to prove he can hit major-league pitching.

Bradley was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday and will bat ninth in the order against the Orioles.

After Hanley Ramirez and Dustin Pedroia both had early exits from Wednesday's game, the Red Sox have brought Bradley back up from Triple-A to play right field on Thursday. Bradley is hitless in 13 at-bats with the Red Sox this season and hasn't been with the big league club since May 19. He'll take over in right field with Alejandro De Aza sliding over to left field for the injured Hanley Ramirez.

Red Sox manager John Farrell said there are no plans at this time to bring Bradley up from Triple-A Pawtucket, the Boston Herald reports.

We can understand Farrell being questioned about Bradley, who is hitting .335/.406/.497 for the PawSox. Not so much about Bradley's ability as a hitter, which he still needs to prove at the major-league level, but his elite defense. Boston's outfield play has been rather comical. If outfielders aren't making outright errors, there have been misplays, poor routes and sometimes poor effort.

Bradley went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two walks and an RBI for Triple-A Pawtucket on Friday.

Bradley continues to hit at the Triple-A level (.333/.407/.500), but there has been no indication that he'll be promoted to Boston. If the Red Sox decide that Mookie Betts (5-for-29, .172 in June) needs a breather in the minors, then Bradley may get another shot with the Red Sox. Bradley's still a defensive marvel and has rehabilitated his prospect status after a tough 2014 in Boston, but needs to prove he can hit at the major league level.

There are no plans at the this time to bring Bradley, who is hitting .354 at Triple-A Pawtucket, back up to Boston, the Boston Globe reports.

Manager John Farrell was discussing the state of Boston's outfield situation -- Daniel Nava's not hitting and on the disabled list; Shane Victorino can't stay healthy and is on the disabled list -- but still no plans to promote Bradley. After Boston acquired Alejandro De Aza on Wednesday, it looks like he'll take on the role as the team's fourth / fifth outfielder, splitting time with Brock Holt.

Bradley was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket on Friday, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.

Bradley struggled since being called up on May 9, going 0-for-11 with four strikeouts. The Red Sox recalled Rusney Castillo in a corresponding move Friday.

Bradley went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in Saturday night's win over the Mariners.

Bradley, who had been hitting well at Triple-A Pawtucket, is 0-for-11 with two walks and four strikeouts since his callup. It hasn't been easy for Bradley, who in his three starts has faced R.A. Dickey, Sonny Gray and Felix Hernandez.

Bradley is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the A's, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.

Bradley notched the start in right field Sunday, but he'll be replaced by Shane Victorino, who was activated from the disabled list. However, manager John Farrell said over the weekend that he still expects Bradley to see consistent playing time, particularly against right-handers.
