Yankees re-signed RHP Mariano Rivera to a one-year, $10 million contract.
He'll have a chance to earn more through incentives. It was reported Thursday that the Yanks were on the verge of wrapping the deal with Rivera up, and now it's official. The future Hall of Famer takes a paycut from his $15 million salary from 2012, though perhaps the incentives would push the earnings up to around that mark. The 42-year-old is coming off surgery to repair a torn right ACL but is expected to be ready for spring training.
