Tyler Colvin homered for the second consecutive game, helping to lead the Rockies to a wild 11-10 victory over the Padres on Sunday.
He finished the night 1-for-3 plus a sacrifice. Colvin launched a two-run homer off Casey Kelly as part of a seven-run third inning that gave the Rockies the lead. He's found his way into everyday playing time with the injuries to Michael Cuddyer, and has responded very favorably. On the season, he's hitting a terrific .294/.335/.564 with 17 homers, 63 RBI and seven steals in only 330 at-bats.
