Sandoval left Saturday's game against Kansas City with an apparent leg injury, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports. Sandoval tried to gun Lorenzo Cain out at first base in the bottom of his fifth inning, but his leg seemed to buckle and the throw went awry. While Sandoval dealt with some quad tightness last weekend, the nature of this injury is uncertain. Travis Shaw came into the game at third base.
