Roberts signed a minor league contract with the Royals on Wednesday. Roberts contract includes an invite to spring training, where he will attempt to latch on to a contending team in the Royals. The 34-year-old has Omar Infante ahead of him on the depth chart, but could be in contention for a roster spot with a strong spring training.
