Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said Marte (oblique) has suffered similar injuries in the past without missing much playing time, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. The team will reevaluate Marte on Monday, but Hurdle painted a somewhat positive picture of Marte following Sunday's game. "There's been some situations where it pops up and goes away," Hurdle said. "It didn't look like it was going away, so I just made a call, and we got him out. He wanted to stay in, but it just didn't feel right to me in my gut. I didn't think the risk was worth the reward. Marte said he experienced similar pain two years ago, when he missed several games in June of 2013 but avoided the DL.
