Phillies sent C Koyie Hill outright to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Hill's presence was no longer needed with Wil Nieves recovered from a mid-June quad strain and Carlos Ruiz due back later this week from a concussion. Hill went 5-for-21 (.238) in his nearly month-long stay in Philly.
