Motte (shoulder) threw 20-25 pitches in a simulated game Wednesday, Nick Kosmider of the Denver Post reports.

Motte reportedly felt great during and after the outing, which is a very good sign considering all the troubles the right-hander has had this season with his throwing shoulder. With the minor league seasons coming to a close, the veteran reliever will likely need to pitch in another simulated game or two in order to be ready to return to the Colorado bullpen. That being said, it seems that Motte could return fairly soon as long as everything goes as planned.
