Morrow (shoulder) was transferred to Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.

Morrow has been out since May 9 with shoulder fatigue after experiencing numerous setbacks with his shoulder last season before undergoing surgery in August of 2015. Before he went down this season, Morrow had accumulated a 7.31 ERA in 32 innings of work spread across three levels of the Padres' minor leagues. With his transfer from extended spring training to El Paso, the hope remains that he could ultimately make his way back to the majors at some point this year.
