Michael Cuddyer is officially done for the season due to an oblique injury.
Cuddyer is feeling better and likely would have begun a rehab assignment if there was more time left in the season, but he's now focused on having a healthy offseason. "I'm out here working," said Cuddyer. "That's what I'm paid to do, to be here and be a teammate. That's what I can do right now. I don't think there's any point in playing in one of these games and being hurt and having to start back from square one for the offseason." Cuddyer batted .260/.317/.489 with 16 home runs, 58 RBI and an .806 OPS in 101 games this season and is owed $10.5 million in each of the next two seasons.
