Martin (hamstring) could return as soon as Friday, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

The goal had been June 10, and Martin is close to meeting that target date. He will run the bases in a simulated setting Wednesday before heading to Triple-A Tacoma for a one-game rehab assignment. If the hamstring responds well, Martin will be back in center field for the series opener against the Rangers.
