Manager John Farrell said Sandoval (neck) is suffering from symptoms of whiplash and may not be available for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal reports. Sandoval paid the price for his diving catch in the field Monday, as his neck ended up tightening up a little later in the game and resulted in his removal after five innings. The Red Sox will wait and see how he feels Tuesday morning before making a determination on his status.
