Lowrie was 1-for-4 with his second homer Wednesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was only Lowrie's second of the season in 232 at-bats as he has struggled to find his power stroke so far in 2016. He has been a surprise for fantasy owners in batting average, posting a .293 mark to date. The lack of homers for Lowrie can be attributed to a significant drop in his fly ball to to 32%, a more than 10% drop from his average over the prior three seasons. If Lowrie can keep the batting average where it is, he does provide some value in deeper leagues at a middle infield position, but the current lack of power combined with no speed potential severely caps his upside.
