Logan Morrison (knee) is not expected to be running at full strength at the start of camp.
Morrison is currently working his way back from his second knee surgery in as many offseasons. He may not be cleared to ramp up his rehab until the end of the month, so his readiness for the start of the season is an open question. "I think it's premature at this point to say exactly what that timetable is until he gets on the field," said Marlins president Larry Beinfest. Joe Mahoney is expected to get a look at first base during Morrison's absence while Greg Dobbs and Austin Kearns will also get some work there.
