Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that Jonathan Broxton's deal with the Reds is worth $21 million over three years.
The deal also includes a $9 million club option for 2013. He'll make $4 million next season, $7 million in 2014 and $9 million in 2015 while the option includes a $1 million buyout. Broxton likely has Brandon League (and well, the Dodgers) to thank for his nice little payday. The expectation is that he'll move into the closer role next season while Aroldis Chapman will get a shot in the starting rotation.
