Jordan Zimmermann held the Braves scoreless for eight innings as the Nationals won 2-0 on Wednesday.
Zimmermann started May the way he ended April -- red hot. The right-hander allowed just two baserunners in his eight innings, striking out eight in the process. He now owns a 1.64 ERA and 0.75 WHIP to go along with his 5-1 record on the year, and he has to at least be in the incredibly premature discussion for the Cy Young in the National League. He will get the Tigers early next week.
