Gennett (oblique) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Class-A Brevard Country on Tuesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

After recently getting a chance to hit on the field, Gennett appears to have made enough progress to see some live game action. If all goes well for the second baseman, an activation at the end of this week or early next could be in store.
