Davis struck out one and pitched a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to earn his third save of the season. He hasn't allowed an earned run yet this season. Greg Holland is currently on the shelf with a Grade 1 pectoral strain, leaving Davis with a couple of weeks to fill in as the Royals' interim closer.
