The veteran lefty has been on the shelf since late May due to elbow soreness and a recent setback pushed his potential return date back by four-to-six weeks. With that, the Brewers transferred him over to the 60-day DL in order to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Will Middlebrooks, whose contract was selected Sunday.
