Brandon Morrow closed 2012 in style Wednesday, holding the Twins to just one run on three hits in eight innings of Toronto's 2-1 victory.
Morrow struck out 11 and walked three in his 2012 finale. The double-digit strikeout effort was only the second of his injury-shortened campaign. Morrow's oblique injury cost him over two months of action, but he'll finish the year the owner of a 2.96 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 108/41 K/BB ratio across 124 2/3 innings pitched. If Morrow's not an ace already, he'll be one in 2013.
