The initial timetable given was "at least two weeks", but it now seems that was overly optimistic. Beltre figures to be placed on the disabled list, after suffering a sprained left thumb and a laceration during Sunday's game against the Red Sox. X-rays came back negative, so he may still return at some point in June.
