According to Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Logan Morrison (knee) has yet to be cleared for his offseason training program.
Morrison was limited to just 93 games in 2012 and is coming off his second knee surgery in as many offseasons. He won't be ready for the start of spring training in February, and his availability for Opening Day is in question. The Marlins don't have any obvious in-house candidates to replace Morrison should he miss extended time into the season. Greg Dobbs would likely be forced into an expanded role at first base.
