Holland (shoulder) will have a follow-up MRI on Thursday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The MRI doesn't foreshadow a potential setback for Holland; it's merely a check-up to ensure that he's healing as anticipated. If the results of the MRI reveal nothing unusual, Holland should be cleared to resume throwing in about two weeks.

Holland (shoulder) is no longer likely to return from the disabled list around the All-Star break, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

An MRI on Friday revealed that Holland's shoulder strain is only about 90 percent healed, and Rangers GM Jon Daniels said the team wants to be cautious. With Holland unlikely to throw off a mound for at least another week or two, he now seems to be targeting a return in late July or early August. He's scheduled for another MRI on June 19.

Holland (shoulder) had an MRI on Friday that showed progress, and he threw from 90 feet Monday, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Promising news for Holland, who continues to move in a positive direction, but still hasn't been cleared to throw off a mound. It's likely he'll have a rotation spot waiting for him once he's healthy; the best guess right now has Holland returning in mid-July. Holland's scheduled for another MRI on June 19, at which point we should get a better idea of his timeline.

Holland (shoulder) is scheduled to throw Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Assuming that throwing schedule holds, Holland will undergo a follow-up MRI after Friday's session just to verify that his shoulder is healing as anticipated. If that's indeed the case, Holland would likely intensify his throwing next week, which could include facing hitters.

Holland (shoulder) threw 20 times from 60 feet Thursday afternoon, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

No issues were reported following the session, so it can be considered a positive first step in his recovery from a left shoulder strain. Holland is not expected to throw off a mound for another 2-to-3 weeks, but he could be an option in the second half if he continues to progress as expected.

Holland (shoulder) will resume throwing Thursday, TR Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Holland will only play catch Thursday, but it's a step in the right direction as he continues to work back from a strained shoulder. Assuming all goes well, he could progress to throwing off of a mound in 2-to-3 weeks.

Holland (shoulder) will begin a throwing program in the next several days but it could be 2-to-3 weeks before he is able to throw off the mound, MLB.com's TR Sullivan reports.

This timetable makes a late-June/early-July return seem like the most likely scenario. Wandy Rodriguez and Phil Klein are currently holding the last two spots in the Rangers' rotation, but Klein's spot will likely be pretty fluid over the coming weeks.

Holland (shoulder) will undergo an MRI next Friday, and he hopes to start throwing the next day, Anthony Andro of FOX Sports Southwest reports.

With Holland not scheduled to throw until early-to-mid May, it's hard to imagine he'll be back with the Rangers any sooner than mid-June. His timeline was estimated at a minimum of six weeks when he was first diagnosed with the shoulder strain Apr. 10.
