Griffin allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 4.1 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Brewers.

EDGE Analysis

Griffin has lasted five innings just once in his past four starts, in which he has allowed 17 runs in as many innings. He was undone by a pair of home runs Monday and has now given up seven blasts in that four start stretch. Griffin is averaging just 87.7 mph on his fastball this year and it looks like hitters have figured out his brand of junkballing.

Griffin lasted just 1.2 innings, allowing three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out one in Tuesday's no-decision versus the Angels.

EDGE Analysis

Griffin may have pitched himself out of the Rangers' playoff rotation with Tuesday's dud, a start in which he threw just 23 of 52 pitches for strikes. Through four games this month, the 28-year-old owns a 7.86 ERA with 11 walks and seven homers allowed over 18.1 innings. The four walks allowed to the Angels on Tuesday were the most Griffin's surrendered since his second start of the season back on Apr. 13. His lack of consistency of late makes him a tough play in any format. The right-hander will draw a favorable matchup when he attempts to rebound Monday against the Brewers.

Griffin allowed two runs on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts over seven innings but was left with a no decision Tuesday against the Astros.

EDGE Analysis

Griffin was touched up for his 25th and 26th home runs of the season, but luckily, both were solo shots. Other than that, he was brilliant, as he reached seven strikeouts for just the fifth time all season and induced 10 swinging strikes in 92 pitches. Griffin's inability to keep the ball in the yard has limited him all season, however, and he owns just a 4.78 ERA as a result.

Griffin (7-4) was thrashed for eight runs on seven hits and three walks in just four innings against the Mariners on Wednesday. He did strike out seven, though.

EDGE Analysis

This was quite the three-true-outcomes day for Griffin, as 13 of the 22 batters he faced homered, walked or struck out. This hasn't been a good season for Griffin by any definition, but it's turning downright ugly toward the end here, as his ERA is slowly climbing toward the 5.00 mark.

Griffin (7-3) held the Astros to three runs on three hits and three walks over 5.2 innings Friday, and struck out five.

EDGE Analysis

A bumpy first inning and the second homer he allowed in the fifth, which ended his start, made what would've otherwise been an even better outing by Griffin. Unfortunately, wins have been the only statistic Griffin has offered value in the 19 games he's started this year. He's sported an average strikeout rate (7.75 K/9) and the rest of his peripherals are quite poor. His next start will be Wednesday at Seattle, a matchup fantasy owners should avoid, if possible. The Mariners have had substantial success against Griffin in his career. In three starts, they've scored 10 runs on 20 hits (four home runs).

Griffin (5-3) gave up three earned runs on seven hits in Saturday's 8-2 loss to the Rays. He struck out four.

EDGE Analysis

He gave up a pair of untimely homers but was also done in by a general lack of run support, sending him to his second consecutive loss. Griffin was taken deep by Luke Maile for a solo shot in the second, which was followed up by a 402-foot blast in the sixth by Evan Longoria. He encouragingly exhibited much better control than he has the majority of the season, refraining from handing out any free passes for only the second time on the campaign. The righty will try get back in the win column when he takes on the Indians next Friday.

Griffin (5-2) allowed six runs on 11 hits and one walk while striking out eight over 6.2 innings to take the loss Sunday against the Tigers.

EDGE Analysis

Griffin has now failed to post a quality start in any of his last four starts, and his ERA has ballooned to 4.68. After posting an ERA in the threes in each of his first two seasons, he's had a significant drop off in his first year with the Rangers. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Rays.

Griffin (5-1) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings, but received no decision Tuesday against the Rockies.

EDGE Analysis

Griffin gave up a pair of runs in both the first and third innings, and ended up leaving the contest with a 5-1 deficit, but the offense came up big in the late innings to take him off the hook for a potential loss. After doing so three times early in the year, he's failed to post a quality start in any of his last 10 outings, and he now owns a 4.38 ERA on the year. After posting a 3.06 ERA in 2012, he's now seen his ERA increase in each of the last two seasons. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Tigers.

Griffin (5-1) allowed three runs -- all on solo homers -- over 5.2 innings Thursday in a win over Baltimore. He struck out six while surrendering five hits without a walk.

EDGE Analysis

He had a shutout going through four, but Mark Trumbo and Pedro Alvarez touched Griffin up for back-to-back jacks in the fifth, then Hyun Soo Kim homered off him to lead off the next inning. Even so, Griffin came just a single out shy of a quality start. He's always had problems with the long ball -- this is, after all, a guy who gave up 36 of them in his last MLB season, 2013 -- but it's been extra brutal lately, as Griffin has now allowed 12 homers in his last eight starts. That makes him awfully hard to trust for fantasy purposes despite his currently not-terrible rate stats.

Griffin (4-1) tossed 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while notching just one strikeout in Friday's win against the Royals.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander failed to make it out of the sixth inning for the eighth straight start, but was still able to earn his first win since April 26. Griffin's lone K was the second time this season that he's struck out just one -- the first came in his opening start of 2016 on April 8 against the Angels. Friday, he threw 66 of his 98 pitches for strikes while allowing no more than three hits for the fourth time in his 13 starts this year. He'll face a tough task in his next start Thursday when he travels to Baltimore to face the daunting Orioles lineup.
