Pollock went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Tuesday in a 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Pollock hit safely for the seventh consecutive game and is 10-for-30 over that stretch with three runs, two RBI, and three stolen bases. He is hitting .329/.377/.414 with the only thing missing from his portfolio being a few more home runs.

Pollock went 1-for-4 and stole his fourth base of the season Sunday in an 8-0 loss to the Pirates.

Pollock has hit safely in six straight and has steals in back-to-back games. His recent hot streak has his batting line up to .338/.389/.431 on the season. While his average is being propped up by some BABIP luck, he should trade a few singles for some extra-base hits at some point.

Pollock went 1-for-4 and stole his third base of the season Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Pollock is really on fire right now with a five-game hitting streak and hits in eight of his last nine games. He is batting .344 on the year.

Pollock was 1-for-4 on Friday in a 4-1 loss to the Pirates.

Pollock has hits in four straight and seven of his last eight to get his batting line up to .351/.406/.456. His power and speed games haven't really gotten going with just one home run and two steals thus far, but when those elements come along he will be a useful fantasy asset in most leagues.

Pollock went 2-for-3 with his second stolen base, a run scored, and an RBI on Wednesday in an 8-5 win over the Rangers.

This was the sixth straight game in which Pollock started that he picked up a hit (he went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter Saturday), and his fourth multi-hit game in that stretch. He has raised his batting line to .358/.417/.472 and is finding success primarily hitting out of the second spot in the lineup. Pollock should approach double digit steals and homers with a batting average above. 280, if he stays healthy, despite the D-Backs rotating their outfielders regularly.

Pollock went 3-for-5 with two runs scored Sunday in a 5-1 win over the Giants.

After sitting out Saturday's game, Pollock went straight back to hitting well from the number two spot in the D-Bakcs order. This is his third multi-hit game in his last four (which includes the game he didn't start in which he was 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter). Manger Chip Hale seems to be committed to rotating people in the outfield, so Pollock will receive these periodic days off. Thus far it doesn't seem to be messing with his rhythm, but it reduces his value just a bit as he has fewer chances to collect stats for you than someone in the lineup every day.

Pollock will return to the lineup Sunday against the Giants.

The Diamondbacks kept Pollock on the bench in Saturday's game for what was likely for rest purposes. Though the team is juggling five players for three outfield spots on a given day, Pollock is probably more secure than any of the Diamondbacks' possible options. With a .325/.413/.475 batting line thus far, Pollock has picked up right where he left off during his last season's breakthrough peformance.

Pollock is out of the lineup Saturday against the Giants, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Pollock racked up four hits and two runs scored in Friday's 9-0 win, giving him seven hits -- including a homer -- in his last 15 at-bats, but he'll give way to Ender Inciarte in center field and atop the order Saturday. It's frustrating for owners, but there has been no word of an injury, so it seems manager Chip Hale just doesn't love the matchup against right-hander Chris Heston.

Pollock had a second consecutive big night Friday in a 9-0 win over the Giants, going 4-for-5 with a walk, two runs, an RBI and a stolen base.

Hitting from the second spot in the order, Pollock has feasted on Giants pitching going 6-for-11 with four runs in the first two games of the season. His batting line stands at .333/.422/.487 though 45 plate appearances and he has walked in 11% of his plate appearances, which is up from 6.6% last year. If he can sustain some of that improvement over the season he will score a lot of runs in front of Paul Goldschmidt and the heart of the D-Backs order.

Pollock had a big night Thursday, going 2-for-6 with his first home run of the season, in a 7-6 extra-innings win over the Giants. He scored twice and had an RBI in the contest.

Pollock looked to have won the game with his 10th inning homer off of Santiago Casilla, but the Giants extended it before the D-Backs finally put them away in the 12th. Pollock has opened the season reasonably well posting a .265/.359/.412 line so far. He was bumped out of the leadoff spot in the order by Ender Inciarte, but he is still on pace to score well over 100 runs thanks to his four walks early on.
