Despite tossing seven solid innings Tuesday, Latos received a no-decision in a five-hit, one-run performance against the visiting Red Sox. He also walked one and struck out five. Latos actually departed the game with a slight 2-1 lead before reliever Jonathan Broxton served up a two-run bomb to Yoenis Cespedes with two outs in the eighth, costing Latos what would have been his third win in a row and fifth of the season (4-3). He'll take his 2.95 ERA and excellent 0.94 WHIP into the thin air of Coors Field against the Rockies in his next start Sunday.
