The Blue Jays placed Lawrie (back) on the 15-day disabled list Thursday, Blue Jays broadcaster Mike Wilner reports. Lawrie just returned earlier this week after missing more than a month with a finger injury, but he will be sidelined again after injuring his back in his first game off the disabled list. Munenori Kawasaki is the favorite to see most of the playing time at the hot corner in Lawrie's place, given that he saw fairly regular action there for a couple weeks prior to Lawrie's return.
