Michael Cuddyer (hamstring) said Tuesday that while he's "getting better," there's "no timetable" for his return. Although Cuddyer isn't sure when he'll be back, Rockies manager Walt Weiss expressed optimism that the outfielder could return around when he's first eligible on Saturday. "No, I think he'd be ready around the time he's eligible to come off," Weiss said. "He'll probably need to get some at bats, but I think he'll be ready pretty soon." There seems to be a bit of a disconnect here, but two times in the last few days Cuddyer has expressed some pessimism. At the very least, it doesn't sound like he'll be back this week.
