Shelby Miller tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Nationals. Miller walked five batters, but the Nationals bailed him out with some ugly at-bats in high-leverage situations and the 23-year-old right-hander wound up dropping his season ERA from 4.67 to 3.57. He'll have to be sharper in his next start at home against the Pirates. Miller does have a 1.77 career ERA at Busch Stadium.
