Jose Quintana was diagnosed with a left shin contusion and is considered day-to-day. He was removed from Saturday's start against the Diamondbacks after just two hitters when he was struck by a line drive off the bat of Gerardo Parra. He appears to have avoided any significant injury though and should be good to go for his next trip through the rotation.
