Giants general manager Brian Sabean said Monday that Jeremy Affeldt (groin) is nearing 100 percent. Affeldt missed most of the last two months of the season due to a left groin strain, but it doesn't sound like he'll be behind at all in spring training. The veteran left-hander posted a 3.74 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 33 2/3 innings this past season.
