Sergio Romo RP SF Apr 12 '13
Sergio Romo took his first blown save and loss after giving up two runs in two-thirds of an inning against the Cubs on Friday.
Romo gave up a homer to a left-hander (switch-hitter Dioner Navarro) for just the fourth time in his career. While this can likely just be chalked up to a bad day, the fact is that Romo isn't used to this kind of workload he's received the first two weeks. Today was his seventh inning of work in the Giants' 11th game. His career high for innings is 62, and he's thrown 48 and 55 the last two years.
