Max Scherzer said Friday that he's pitching at a later day this spring because he wants to repeat his 2012 routine.
Scherzer had a shoulder issue at the end of last season, but he insists he's at 100 percent right now. The right-hander posted a 3.74 ERA and 231/60 K/BB ratio over 187 2/3 innings last year.
