Javier Lopez underwent X-rays on his left hand which ruled out a fracture.
Lopez was hit in the hand with a ball Tuesday because of a short-hop throw, but he managed to walk away with just a contusion. The Giants figure to be extra careful since it's his throwing hand, but he should be able to resume throwing soon.
