Matt Garza told reporters on Sunday evening that his mild lat strain "shouldn't be a big thing."
"It's not as bad as I thought," Garza said. "My arm felt fine, so I was pretty pumped about that. I'm not going to push it when I don't have to." The Cubs will re-evaluate the 29-year-old right-hander on Monday. For now, he seems capable of getting ready in time for Opening Day.
