Carl Crawford LF LAD 10 Months
Carl Crawford took his first live batting practice session on Sunday in Dodgers' camp.
Crawford had been hitting in the cage this offseason, but this was his first real batting practice since undergoing Tommy John surgery last August. "I was really surprised," manager Don Mattingly said. "For the first time in open space, that's just a lot different, and I'm sure he doesn't feel good, but I thought he was good." Crawford's next step will be ramping up his throwing program. The 31-year-old outfielder expects to be ready for Opening Day.
