Brewers owner Mark Attanasio said that he is not in any "active conversations" with the agent for Kyle Lohse or anyone else.
Attanasio said his "ears are always open," but it sounds like the Brews would prefer to retain some payroll flexibility than bring in Lohse. FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported Thursday that Lohse is expected to sign somewhere soon, but it appears that Milwaukee isn't a likely destination.
