CC Sabathia (elbow) didn't report any setbacks in his first bullpen session of spring training on Saturday.
It was his first time throwing off a mound since having arthroscopic surgery on his elbow last October. The Yankees are expected to bring Sabathia along slowly in spring training, and he's unlikely to appear in a Grapefruit League game before the first week of March. His next bullpen session is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday.
