Logan Morrison hopes to be cleared to begin jogging after having his surgically-repaired right knee examined in Colorado on Tuesday.
It would be a step in the right direction, but Morrison's status for Opening Day remains in question. The Marlins signed Casey Kotchman to a minor league deal Friday in order to give them some protection at first base.
