Wilson Ramos C WAS Feb 11 '13
Wilson Ramos (knee) is running, squatting and hitting with no issues.
"The doctors said go slow, do everything slow, because I don't want to get hurt again," said Ramos, who is coming back from a torn ACL and meniscus. "I want to be 100 percent for the season. But I feel good right now. I'm working hard. I feel my knee is strong." Ramos is a bit hesitant about blocking pitches, which is how he hurt his knee last year, but he's confident that it's just a mental hurdle that he needs to get over. The Nationals plan to begin the season with Kurt Suzuki as their starting backstop, with Ramos being eased back into a more prominent role.
