Norris, 27, went just 7-13 with a 4.65 ERA in 2012 but has struck out nearly a batter per inning over the course of his four-year career. He could be a useful member of the rotation for a team looking to contend in 2013, hence the Astros' willingness to trade him and the reported interest from other clubs.
