Nelson Cruz released a statement through his lawyer to deny a report this week which connected him to an anti-aging clinic in Miami which distributed performance-enhancing drugs.
"We are aware of certain allegations and inferences," the statement from Farrell & Reisinger said. "To the extent these allegations and inferences refer to Nelson, they are denied." The report from the Miami New Times alleges that Cruz purchased $4,000 work of product from the clinic. MLB is currently investigating the matter.
