Rays avoided arbitration with OF Sam Fuld by agreeing to a one-year, $725,000 contract.
Fuld was arbitration-eligible for the first time as a Super 2 player. He batted just .255/.318/.327 in 2012 while being limited to 44 games due to injury but will return in a reserve role in 2013.
