Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that A.J. Pierzynski has passed his physical with the Rangers.
Pierzynski has agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million contract with the Rangers, but the club doesn't expect to officially announce the move until after Christmas. The Rangers will need to make a move in order to make room for him on the 40-man roster.
