Ronald Belisario has been kicked off his Venezuelan Winter League team for disciplinary reasons.
Belisario requested a personal leave of absence, according to the Los Angeles Times, and then did not return when scheduled. It's a troubling story given the 29-year-old right-hander's past issues with cocaine, but for now it won't affect his status with the Dodgers. Belisario posted a superb 2.54 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 69/29 K/BB ratio across 71 innings of relief in 2012.
