Bill Center of the San Diego Union-Tribune categorized a potential trade for either Ubaldo Jimenez or Justin Masterson as "a very long shot."
Center reported over the weekend that Jimenez could be a target of the Pads, but evidently he's not a likely one. San Diego has re-signed Jason Marquis, but they'd like to bring in at least one more starter.
