Rangers re-signed C Geovany Soto to a one-year, $2.75 million contract.
If he hits all of his incentives, the deal could be worth $3 million. Soto hit a disappointing .198/.270/.343 in 2012, but the Rangers were pleased with his work behind the plate down the stretch. He could start for them in 2013 if they don't sign another catcher.
